Misty Sunset

Occasionally a landscape opportunity appears in front of you. Travelling back into Mansfield from a shoot on a property I watched as the sun set and the sky turned to fire. As I approached a hill I glimpsed the sky reflected in a dam. With only seconds to spare I jumped out of the car, waded through long grass and quickly decided on a composition - then took a deep breath and slowed down. Check settings, adjust composition, take a couple of test shots then wait for the perfect moment.
