Since working on a casual basis for the Mansfield Courier I have been given an opportunity to photograph for one of North East Media's other publications, the North East Living Magazine. Released three time a year, this full colour glossy magazine contains articles on people and places in North East Victoria. It's a wonderful insight into what it means to live and work in this beautiful location and I look forward to each new edition.

Max Fricke - Speedway Champion

My first shoot for the magazine was for an article on Max Fricke. Max is a speedway racer who spends the majority of his time overseas competing on the international circuit but was born and raised in Mansfield. Max's story was written by Jarrah Loh and can be found in the April 2019 edition of the magazine. Max is also featured in this weeks Mansfield Courier which describes how Max and the sport are being impacted by Covid 19.

Wendy Jagger - Artist

The current edition of the North East Living Magazine contains an article on local artist Wendy Jagger. Wendy is know throughout the region for her beautiful ceramics and landscape paintings.

The photo shoot took place in her studio which has magnificent views to Mt Buller. In addition to creating new works, Wendy also runs painting and pottery classes and workshops which are often booked out well in advance.
